Sexuality: Bisexual (But you'd have to seriously court him for it to show. His focus is protecting the Pharaoh so he could be assumed as Asexual otherwise.)

Appearance: Mahaado just touches 6 feet with cinnamon colored hair that reaches past his shoulders and bangs that rest neatly over his brow. He has dark blue eyes that in darkness can seem almost black and wears the traditional eye make up that his people wear. Mahaado's skin tone is caramelish due to the fact that he's a mage and not out under the sun all the time. He keeps a neat and clean appearance at all times remembering that he represents his Pharaoh at all times. For the average person, Mahaado bears the look of a healthy, 17ish year old looking teen with a firm, well toned though not overly muscular body, young man.

His robes are white and reach his ankles in length and are sleeveless as well as white slip on shoes. His ankles, wrists, and forearms have wide gold bands around them. There are thick shoulderpad like gold pieces he wears that his cape is attached to, as well as a headdress made of the same cloth with a gold centerpiece. Which can look a bit like a sun with bat wings spread from it. Oh and clothes are optional. The Ancient Egyptians saw no problem with nudity and Mahaado will go nearly naked in his private quarters if warm.

Personality:

Loyal beyond words, dignified, and proud of who he serves, Mahaado lived for his duty to serve his Pharaoh. Subsequently he died fighting to serve his Pharaoh.

As Mahaado: He's quiet, observant, rather clueless about the modern world, thus even more quiet then normal. He's polite, rather gentlemanly though he abandons that the moment the Pharaoh is threatened. He's willing to take a lot of abuse from others so long as it doesn't distract from his duty to his ruler. Generally believing everything is fine no matter the cost, so long as his ruler is well. Clever about magic, he's a stern teacher though not without compassion.

As Dark Magician: Cold, serious, tends to taunt, as a monster Mahaado is unable to verbally communicate with anyone. Also he is forced to obey who ever it is that summons him, regardless of if it is the Pharaoh or not. Depending on the method, if he is forced from the Pharaoh's (Or master who summoned him) side, he either develops an emotionless expression or an angry one.

Abilities/ Strengths: He's a magician, one of the most powerful in all of Ancient Egypt and possible the ancient world. Some of his spells can be found in spell cards, but can go far beyond that. Levitation, floating/flying, energy blasts, materializing items either out of something else (Creating the Knives in his 'Thousand Knives' spell) Or out of the proverbial hammer space. Mahaado has very limited healing spells, mostly concerning the summoning and subsequent dismissal of his spellbooks. Multiple ways of avoiding instant death, or redirecting attacks geared towards him.

Weakness: As the title states, he's a 'Dark' Magician, he's stronger when he's fighting in darkness, or on fields provided by the player that heightens the strength of a mage. So the reverse drains him significantly. He takes more abuse then he probably should, just because he doesn't know better.
His greatest weakness though is being the Dark Magician. Once in that form he loses the ability to think for himself wholly. A controlled magician who's power goes to the summoner, and that summoner becomes his 'Pharaoh'. He serves that master with absolute devotion, unable to tell if the person he faces is innocent or evil. His demeanor shifts to reflect the type of master he has, and he serves and defends that Master to the utmost of his ability.

Notable Possessions: His staff which appears when he needs it. His spellbooks. Other then his High Priest Egyptian robes and Dark Magician form there's nothing else. Unless you count his two Ka (Magician of Illusion and Magician of Black Chaos) as possessions. Though they are extensions of his own soul.

History: No one knows where Mahaado comes from, other then the fact he was picked up by bandits and thieves, a slave to them. But he was rich with unreleased potential in the arts of magic, found in his barely summonable Magician of Black Chaos. His soon to be Master took his Ka for himself, and presented Mahaado to the Pharaoh as a gift. A possible human shield if nothing else for the still tiny prince. Yet Mahaado didn't disappoint, truly gifted in the magical arts he excelled in battle magics, able to provide the little Prince with a very early formidable protection.

But as Mahaado grew older, the more corrupted the master got by the power of the Ring. Absorbing increasingly dangerous amounts of Evil Magic into the Ring. By the time Mahaado had inherited the Ring with the position of Personal BodyGuard, Captain of the Royal Guards, and Captain of the Guards of the Tombs it was too late. He couldn't use the Ring, it would ultimately corrupt him, so he stripped himself of his own magics. Sealing them away into binding the Ring's growing malevolence and making him into nothing more then a human shield. All his magics, his usefulness to the Pharaoh gone. Thus nearly useless he tried one last time to prove himself to his Pharaoh by facing the Tomb Robber Bakura.

He died, unable to defeat the Thief, he instead opted to take his own life, and use his own arcane arts to seal his human Soul into his Ka, his Shadow Monster. Once a weaker Magician of Illusion, now the Dark Magician, Mahaado became bound to a stone tablet and served as his Pharaoh's most loyal monster.

Once a Loyal guardian and protector, now a Loyal Monster that defied the odds time and time again to help his ruler. Mahaado is clearly no simple bit of cardboard with ink, and somehow, after 3,000 years he's awaken as a human again. Magician of Illusion once more his Ka, but now also his original Ka: Magician of Black Chaos, has been reunited within him.
